The photo series Peephole portrays multiple perspectives of Asian migrants living in Europe. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, anti-Asian xenophobia has increased worldwide. Under the pretext of preventing COVID-19, anti-Asian racism has become increasingly tolerated in society. However, the severity of this racism is deeply troubling in everyday life. Mass media have reported cases of anti-Asian xenophobia and how fear has permeated even the domestic sphere, which should serve as a safe haven. Peephole represents negative emotions such as anxiety, fear, despair, and depression, while the UV-printed newspaper articles on the glass from the ten months of the COVID-19 period amplify these emotional states.
